Looking at Moon
This Meiji era print by Toshikata Mizuno ( 1866 - 1908), from the series ‘Sanju-roku Karen’ (Thirty-six Selected Beauties) was published in 1891 by Akiyama Buemon. The print itself is an early edition (e.g. not a reprint from a print run after the initial print run), and is in relatively poor condition.
The print shows a young woman in traditional Japanese costume standing by a stream in the full moon.
The British Library has a copy of this print in far better condition. It is not currently on display, but can be seen on the British Museum on-line collection at:

The artist -Toshikata Mizuno - is identified by the signature ‘Toshikata’ and the red seal that appears in the bottom right hand corner of the print.
